Our Members
We envision the Ellsberg Whistleblower Award evolving into a global network of support and recognition for whistleblowers, particularly in regions where their contributions to democracy and the common good might otherwise be overlooked. To achieve this, we are building an international network of non-profit organizations that that will have the opportunity to nominate deserving whistleblowers from their respective regions for the award.
The managing board will assist member organizations in establishing a secure, anonymous, online whistleblowing platform and other possible support structures for whistleblowers. This way, we can create networks of support for the whistleblowers and raise awareness for the grievances they have brought to light – grievances that otherwise may have gone unnoticed in other parts of the world.
